“It’s not easy keeping the artist persona alive”, That’s all that Sabby says when asked about what it’s like to be an artist, but his music speaks volumes about what it is to be an artist ~ Raw and Real. His freshly baked track ‘Finest’ embodies just that, the rawness of being an underrated artist – Facing judgment, criticism, fighting against the internet numbers, ‘Finest’ draws a parallel between his life both as an artist and as an individual. The song in fact was driven out of the need to prove his worth, the fact that he’s more than just an underrated artist. With ‘Finest’ he wanted to put himself on the big charts, show that he can cause fires lyrically, and put his name along the best in India’s rap scene. Finest is probably Sabby’s finest collaboration with Pune Rapper - Rada. Sabby now wants to live on his own terms and tell his story, one verse at a time. He wants to be one of those who aren’t out of sight, out of mind for their audience, he wants to leave a legacy of his own, be remembered for speaking his own truth, no matter what it takes. He’s still got battles to fight to sustain himself as an artist, but with his family finally lending him the support he needs, Sabby believes that it will get easier, for Music is the only way he knows and it’s the path he will go.
