This was my most calculated purchase, where I constantly justified myself the absence of accessories with the expectations in quality of material described in the product description. I was wronged the very moment I opened the eagerly awaited package, intially expecting a box of sorts as Urban Monkey T-shirt in an extravagant box with intricate packaging but received my backpack in just a cover. Which, upon opening, revealed a thin and flimsy-materialed bag that housed a few straps and an undesirable cushioning on the shoulder straps. This does a complete injustice to the backpack, which is marketed toward hustlers, as comfort — something that should be the top priority — is compromised. This is a mass-produced backpack which, in my opinion, means that this blunder is not only for the particular product I received. I respect the brand to the core - for its contributions to the society and enrichment of various artists within and oustide the company and always have wanted to represent it, a mere function I expect out of an urban monkey product which has been completely minimized by the designers in this scenario. But this experience has somewhat disturbed the trust I instilled in Urban Monkey, a brand for which I was always a die-hard fan and sought it closely to heart. I hope this is taken into consideration followed by serious amends being made, 'hope' because even the customer service team won't respond to my queries regarding this purchase, which arrived in the most unexpected and inexcusable packaging. For a brand that loves to serve its customer, this should be a big hit.
